SQUAD WATCH: FLAMING ORANJE TO PLAY FOOTBALL THE GOAN WAY.

The Flaming Oranje is gearing up for the upcoming I-League 2016 in full swing. The boys got their first feel of our fortress in the New Year as they took up training at PJN Fatorda Stadium earlier today.  The head coach of Sporting Mateus Costa said “We are all excited about this season. The boys are charged up and full of energy.” Sporting Clube De Goa had fairly a mixed season last time around.  When some results went totally against us, some turned out to be remarkable performances.  This is a different season, The Flaming Oranje will look to capitalise on their strengths right from the start. Sporting have managed to put up a fairly balanced squad for the upcoming I-League, as they have identified their shortfalls in a successful Goa Pro League season making some key signings in certain departments. Sticking to the vision of our club Sporting will be fielding a packed local side with lads who have showcased some amazing talent in the local circuit. The Head Coach further added “These boys have showcased some true spirit of Goan Football; we will give them the opportunity to prove the same at a national stage. It will be an amazing experience for the players as they will be now drawing lines against some of the country’s finest footballers.” The following list of player will feature in the upcoming football carnival of India.
